COUNTRY DUNC  July 14th 2011

Tonight's artiste secured a booking at our club when he generously performed here on one of our Charity Events; So this was the first complete show from Duncan, and what a great concert he produced.

      Despite being brought up on classical music, he also enjoyed Rock and other Genres learning to play acoustic guitar,keyboards,saxophone and harmonica.

  He has played in various types of bands but his love of country music especially Don Williams' songs, drove him towards this music. He now divides his time performing in the UK during Spring and Summer and Autumn and Winter in Spain.

       This evening's performance featured over forty songs, most of which were of the Classic variety with just a few of the more modern 'New Country' type.

   Numbers included, Welcome To My World,Sunday Morning Coming Down,Some Broken Hearts Never mend, One Night at A Time, Luchenback Texas, You're My Best Friend,Diggin' Up Bones, A White Sports coat, Highwayman, One Piece At A Time, It's Five O'clock Somewhere, Cabo San Lucas,Galway Girl and King Of The Road, all of which received appreciative applause from dancers and listeners alike.

    Duncan has a great country voice, lovely, lively personality and his show is non-stop, all of which is certain to get another booking at our club.
