JESSICA

Following the success of her debut last year, it was inevitable that Jessica would return to entertain us again. Although performing in the Trio, 'Diva Dynamic', tonight she was giving a solo concert.

Songs delivered this evening, included, Sara Evans, Suds In The Bucket, Jeannie C.Riley's, Harper Valley PTA,  Patty Loveless',  Blame It On Your Heart, Dolly Parton's, Tennessee Homesick Blues,  Lorretta Lynn's, Your're Lookin' At Country and Pam Tillis', Cleopatra, Queen Of Denial.

Each of her three sets saw her in a change of outfit and each similarly formatted.

Later numbers included Miranda Lambert's, The House That Built Me, Reba McEntire's, Forever Love, Rodney Crowell's, Lovin' All Night, Shania Twain's, I'm Gonna  Getcha Good. Gretchen Wilson's, Redneck Woman and Jody Millar's, House Of The Rising Sun.

Once again Jessica gave us a superb show. Earning herself a return visit later on in the year.

Making her first appearance at our club, 18 year old Jessica, based in Nelson, Lancashire comes from a musical family and has been performing professionally for just over three years.

She began a a support artiste with country singer Kris Davis but has been solo now for twelve months. She continues in full time education at present aiming for a diploma in childcare, ultimately  teaching the subject.

Starting tonight with Carlene Carter's, Every Little Thing, she continued with Juice Newton's, Queen of Hearts, Tammy Wynette's , Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad, Susan Ashton's,  Closer and Pam Tillis', Mi Vida Loca.

Each act was similarly composed, a lovely, lively mix of old and new songs. Each ideally suited to her powerfully melodic voice.

Other numbers featured  included, Lorrie Morgan's, Except for Mondays, Reba McEntire's , Pink Guitar, Patcy Cline's, Walkin' After Midnight, Eddy Arnold's, Cattle Call, Miranda Lambert's, White Liar, Dolly Parton's, Coat of Many Colours, The Dixie Chicks', Let 'ER  Rip, Kenny Rogers', Sweet Music Man, and to end this splendid show, Vanessa Williams' Colours Of The Wind as featured in Disney Film, Pocahontas.

With concerts like this, it would not surprise me to see Jessica here again, as her terrific voice and lovely personality endeared her to our members.
