JOHN DALE July 28th 2011 A newcomer to our club, John hails from Liverpool and has been in the music business since he was fourteen years old. He plays guitar, starting with Rock and Roll, then Rhythm and blues and finally Country music. In line with his lifetime obsession with the State of Texas and anything Texan.
Well attired, he began tonight's Show with Alan Jackson's, Chattahoochie and followed up with Charley Pride's, Is Anybody Going To San Antone, Dave Dudley's,Six Days On The Road, Don Gibson's, Sea Of Heartbreak, George Strait's, Adalida and Don Williams', I Recall A Gypsy Woman.
Each of his sets was similarly formatted having a lovely mix of old and new country songs. Later numbers featured included Merle Haggard's Mama Tried, Every song received appreciative applause from dancers and listeners alike and John's performance certainly pleased our members. Cyril Insley
